Description of PFM File Type:

PFM is a Printer Font Metrics File type. Adobe Type 1 font used by the Microsoft Windows operating system. PFM includes measurements of characters within the font. PFM requires an associated .PFB file for the font. PFM does not contain the actual font glyphs, but helps the font in the PFB file to be displayed correctly.
